New life for old jacket.

Here is a sweet little custom project using woven bands. My husband is hard on clothes and wore out the cuffs and hem of his high tech thermal jacket and he hates throwing away his favourite clothes.

Woven bands were often used as a part of traditional clothing. You’ve probobly seen this in Greek and Ukrainian costumes but also common in Nordic countries and Latin American cultures.

I asked him what colours he would like and chose a Baltic weave on the Inkle loom. And the jacket lives to work another day.
